During winter, members of Botany Bay Triathlon Club participate in a running series organised by Brighton Baths Athletic Club (BBAC) held most Sunday mornings April to September. Located at Brighton Pavilion, the same venue as Botany Bay Triathlon Club, the runs are handicapped with the distance building from 6k to 14k and back. Starts 9:00 am. Check on site prior for details.

Note: Membership to BBAC is required to participate.

RACE GEAR CHECK LIST

Some items to consider before you head out to the races

* race licence, ID

* swimmers/ race suit, race number belt, nutrition, heart rate monitor or watch with timer, sunscreen

* wetsuit, goggles, towel, anti chafing cream, 2nd cap if cold

* bike, shoes, helmet, sunglasses, spare tubes, tyrelevers, small tool, bike pump, bottles and cages, track pump

* runners with quick laces, socks, cap, vaselene, race fuel belt & flasks

* change of cloths, recovery drinks & food

It is a good idea to have your bike serviced the week before your race so you avoid any surprises on the day. Make sure to allow a test ride or two for any minor adjustments before the actual race.
